Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Spanish teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a strong command of the Spanish language and a commitment to providing exceptional instruction.
Responsibilities:
§ Develop and implement engaging Spanish language curriculum and lesson plans aligned with educational standards.
§ Teach Spanish language courses to students and skill levels, middle, and high school students (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme).
§ Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and achievement.
§ Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them succeed.
§ Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and well-being.
§ Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in Spanish language teaching.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish language or education, or equivalent.
- Native Spanish speaker or fluent in Spanish with a strong command of both written and spoken language.
- Proven experience teaching Spanish language courses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
Added advantages:
- Master’s degree in Spanish language or education.
- Experience teaching Spanish language online or using technology-enhanced instruction.
- Certification in Spanish language teaching.
