Job Description
The HR Hive is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Senior Legal Counsel & Compliance Officer in Lagos, within our Risk & Compliance department. This leadership role requires a seasoned legal professional who can drive strategic legal initiatives and enhance operational excellence within our financial services platform. The position offers the chance to influence legal frameworks and risk management within a rapidly evolving environment.
Key responsibilities include providing strategic legal guidance, managing engagement with regulatory authorities, developing legal risk frameworks, structuring commercial agreements, and supporting business growth through proactive legal counsel.
Ideal candidates will have over 8 years of progressive legal experience, expertise in financial services regulation, strong commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills.
