KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Manager is an individual who is highly sociable, draws energy from working with people, and is optimistic and outgoing. He/she is an excellent leader within the organization, able to build a cohesive sales team of Buyer Specialists and Showing Assistants who are united in their commitment to the team’s standards and to achieving the team’s goals. They have a strong sense of urgency, but not at the expense of quality. The Sales Manager leads the buyer side of the team by hiring, training, consulting, and holding accountable all Buyer Specialists and Showing Assistants. In addition, he/she demonstrates on a daily basis the management ability, knowledge, attitudes, skills, and habits of a high-achieving buyer agent who is committed to putting clients first, doing the right thing, and to seeking win-win agreements. The Sales Manager also demonstrates a commitment to learning and strives for growth by regularly attending courses, teaching courses when appropriate, and regularly practicing scripts and dialogues. Lagos, NGSales Manager responsibilities
- Manage a sales team and provide leadership, training and coaching
- Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
- Set individual sales targets with sales team
- Work on sales scripts with agents
- Track, collate and interpret sales figures and reporting
- Ensure members of the sales team have the necessary resources to perform properly
- Plan and direct sales team training
- Control expenses and monitor budgets
Sales Manager qualifications
- At least a BSc/HND in any social science course
· MBA is an added advantage/ degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience required.
- One year of experience as a sales manager/team leader role is preferred
- Proven organizational and planning ability
- Must possess excellent communication skills and have a positive, upbeat attitude
- Maintains an open mind to new ideas and suggestions
- Develops innovative forward design concepts
- You do not need a real estate license but real estate experience or license is a big plus
- Streamline company materials and campaigns to ensure a consistent and concise message.
- Create, deliver and edit marketing materials and advertising campaigns that are effective and timely
- Develop new community events and all signage to encourage and entice potential buyers
- Manage website design, content, SEO development and tracking analytics to ensure all content is up to date and relevant
- Update all Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media posts and respond to followers
- Support the company and agent by tracking incoming leads/prospects so marketing campaigns can be adjusted accordingly to help ensure company growth
- Plan and organize all team events, take photos, and then market on social media.
- Direct responsibility to effectively market & sell the Company’s products through constant sourcing of viable clients.
- Actively contribute to the conceptualization of marketing strategies to ensure that sales targets are met and exceeded.
- Drafting of relevant correspondences and documents to communicate the Company’s position on any transaction concerning new and existing clients.
- Negotiating deals with group and individual prospects.
- Fully participate in site inspections to activate sales transactions.
- Participate in researching and providing market intelligence reports every quarter.
- Contribute to developing and advising on marketing communication materials to promote the Company as a brand.
