Job Description
Firewood Rice Nigeria seeks a skilled Pastry Chef to prepare and bake pastries, desserts, and baked goods to restaurant standards. The successful candidate will plate attractively, maintain correct serving temperatures, create daily and weekly specials, assist with event orders, and ensure consistent flavor and texture.
- Maintain and update recipe cards; develop new menu items with the Head Chef while managing costs.
- Monitor and label ingredient stock, reduce waste through planning and portion control.
- Keep a clean, HACCP-compliant workstation; sanitize tools and surfaces.
- Coordinate timely dessert delivery with the main kitchen and train pastry assistants.
Job Type: Full-time. Pay: ₦150,00/month. Work Location: In person.
