Job Description
The Mine Superintendent will report to the Mine Manager and oversee daily operations at our Abuja quarry. Key duties include coordinating drilling, blasting, loading, hauling and crushing; supervising foremen and equipment operators; allocating equipment and manpower; implementing short-term production plans; monitoring production metrics; enforcing HSE standards; and managing shifts.
- Qualifications: 5–10 years’ experience in mining/quarrying/drilling/heavy equipment operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role; undergraduate degree preferred.
- Skills: production scheduling, equipment dispatch, drill/blast coordination, shift management, leadership, discipline, safety orientation and problem-solving.
