Job Description

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) invites applications for the position of Mechanic in Ibadan. This is a 3-year renewable contract with a closing date for applications on May 23, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting for vehicles
• Perform maintenance and repairs based on diagnostic findings
• Recover vehicles from designated locations
• Ensure regular cleaning and upkeep of the workshop
• Work collaboratively with workshop management
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications: Applicants should possess an OND in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Strong automotive repair skills and problem-solving abilities are required.
