Job Description
We seek a Marine Operations Officer to coordinate vessel operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, manage schedules, and liaise with port authorities and crew. Core duties include voyage planning, overseeing maintenance, conducting risk assessments, and enforcing environmental standards.
- Minimum: bachelor’s degree in maritime studies or related field and 3+ years offshore or shipboard experience
- Strong leadership, navigation knowledge, maritime logistics, and emergency response skills
- Valid certifications required: STCW; GMDSS preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication with proven ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder operations
