Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Enugu, with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion. The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, overseeing employee benefits, managing personnel records, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Key responsibilities include supporting recruitment efforts, facilitating employee onboarding and training, addressing employee concerns, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Additionally, the role will involve maintaining effective communication between management and staff to optimize workforce performance and engagement.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Human Resources (HR) principles and practices
- Experience in HR Management and Personnel Management
- Knowledge of HR Policies and implementation
- Understanding of Employee Benefits and administration processes
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
- Prior non-profit sector experience is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
