Job Description
The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture is seeking suitable Nigerian nationals for the position of Field Worker II at our headquarters in Ibadan. This position is for a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of renewal.
Duties include:
- Assisting in the establishment of field trials and data collection.
- Spraying herbicides and insecticides on field trials.
- Maintaining screen house and glass house trials.
- Conducting pollination and general field maintenance.
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements:
O’level with at least three years of experience in a similar role, preferably in agriculture. Proficiency in field book applications and MS Office is required.
