Job Description
The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) is tasked with collecting and accounting for revenue in Nigeria, while ensuring fair tax administration. We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager, Legal to join our team.
Job Reference Number: LG – 1
Location: Nigeria
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and vet proposed laws and legislation.
- Oversee an out-station Chamber.
- File documents for prosecution in criminal proceedings.
- Supervise a team of officers.
- Represent the Service in court.
- Assist in data collection and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B), BL (Master’s preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in Nigerian tax law.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
