Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will support financial decision-making and maintain accurate financial documentation.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle payroll processing and statutory deductions
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial policies
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
Requirements:
- HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant (preferably in a company or firm)
- Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
