Our mission is to bridge the digital divide by equipping youths with practical, industry-relevant skills, enabling them to thrive in the ever-evolving tech sector.
We are currently recruiting for the following position:
- We are seeking a highly organized Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects from start to finish.
- The ideal candidate will manage the entire project lifecycle and should be tech-savvy, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to utilize various project management tools to ensure effective program delivery.
The ideal candidate will:
– Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for tech training initiatives.
– Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
– Lead cross-functional teams, including leadership, finance, trainers, and volunteers, to achieve project objectives.
– Provide clear direction, assign tasks, and manage team performance to ensure project success.
– Set and manage dependencies across all projects, ensuring proper planning and timely resolution of potential bottlenecks.
– Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals.
– Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
– Monitor project risks and adjust plans as necessary to address challenges.
– Implement and manage Agile project management practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
– Continuously improve processes to enhance team productivity and project outcomes.
– Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
– Develop and maintain a comprehensive project roadmap, ensuring it is regularly updated to reflect changes and align with organizational priorities.
– Track and manage the onboarding process for participants, ensuring all timelines are met for a seamless experience in various programs.
– Coordinate with training and operational teams to monitor program development and delivery, ensuring they stay on track and are completed within the required timelines.
– Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
– Track project expenses and make adjustments as necessary to avoid budget overruns.
– Ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and adhere to organizational guidelines.
– Conduct regular project reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
– Maintain detailed project documentation and reports, ensuring clear visibility of project status for all stakeholders.
– Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, ensuring timely communication of project updates, challenges, and changes.
Qualification
-Must be between 25-30 years.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
– 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the non-profit or educational sector, with a focus on tech training initiatives.
– Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
– Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and proficiency in project management tools.
– Demonstrated ability in planning and updating project roadmaps while managing dependencies across teams and projects
