Job Description:
- Monitor mold equipment to ensure efficient production during automatic operation.
- Prepare tundish and perform spout cleaning.
- Clean launder and ensure readiness.
- Center casting tundish along with the strand.
- Inspect emergency valves and ensure readiness for casting.
- Seal dummy bar according to standard gauge.
- Stand for an hour to monitor mold level.
- Perform proper lubrication and slag removal during casting.
- Address breakout reasons promptly and utilize good oxygen lancing practices.
- Comply with safety protocols and wear PPE.
