Job Description
Responsibilities:*
– Plan and deliver engaging chemistry lessons to SS1-SS3 students
– Prepare and administer tests, assignments, and exams
– Mark and grade students’ work, providing constructive feedback
– Develop and implement practical experiments to illustrate chemistry concepts
– Supervise and guide students during lab sessions
– Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and performance
– Collaborate with other science teachers to integrate curriculum and teaching methods
– Participate in school activities, such as science fairs and open days
*Requirements:*
– Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field
– Teaching qualification (e.g., NCE, B.Ed, PGDE)
– Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (fresh graduates welcome to apply)
– Strong knowledge of chemistry and ability to simplify complex concepts
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Ability to manage classroom and maintain discipline
