Job Description
The Agricultural Research Council is inviting applications for the position of Insect Ecology Research Assistant. This role involves essential responsibilities such as assisting in the mass-rearing of host insects, conducting field surveys, collecting and analyzing data, and participating in laboratory bioassay screening trials.
Qualified applicants should possess at least a Grade 12 qualification or equivalent, with a Diploma in Plant Protection or Plant Production preferred. Previous experience in insect rearing is beneficial. Candidates must demonstrate basic computer skills, strong teamwork capabilities, and hold a valid driver’s license (08/EB).
